Your data. Your choices.
Information about the test version and available controls.
Language suggested by country
We use the approximate country of your IP to suggest an available language on your first visit. The lookup happens locally on the server, without sending your IP to a geolocation service, using GPS or storing the IP for this purpose. Your manual choice or an explicit language in the link takes priority.
What we use to connect people
We use account data, the country and languages you provide, your profile and messages to authenticate, match people and deliver conversations. Country is self-reported. Gender, zodiac sign, personality and location are optional and have their own visibility controls.
Translation and profile images
Message text may be sent to the AI provider configured on the server to generate a translation. We currently use DeepSeek. Authentication, database and profile images use Supabase. We do not publish your messages or give universities unrestricted access to conversations.
You decide what to share
In your profile, choose the visibility of each field and your passport. You can block or report users, export your data and request account deletion in settings. Profile photos and covers follow profile access controls.
Institutional participation
Campus form data will be used to review the partnership proposal and institutional contact. Submitting does not award places or automatically approve the institution. Avoid including student data in the description.
Retention and test version
Conversations between friends remain in history. Temporary conversations are hidden when ended; reports may preserve the reported content for review. Automatic retention routines, a formal data controller contact and the final policy are being prepared before public launch. This page describes the current implementation and does not promise automatic deletion that is not yet configured.
